We teach two subjects — HSC Physics and Chemistry — and we teach them exceptionally well. That focus is the whole idea.
The ground-up approach
Hard science, made to click.
Most students don’t lose marks because the content is too hard. They lose them because a fundamental never quite locked in. So that’s where we start: every module broken into manageable chunks, fundamentals genuinely understood, then applied together to exam-style questions until the technique is second nature.
Our class booklets are compiled with university academics, senior HSC markers, HSC examination writers and high-achieving students — covering everything in the syllabus, and some beyond it to extend our students.
And because accountability is what turns teaching into results, everything is marked: weekly homework with written feedback, weekly spot tests in Year 12, and end-of-module examinations under real conditions.

Every teacher is handpicked by the owner, Chris, for knowledge and communication. A great HSC mark doesn’t make a great teacher — we have turned away state rankers and 99.95 ATAR graduates who lacked the communication skills our students deserve.
The team today includes HSC examination markers, teachers with 20+ years of experience, and former Sigma students who earned state ranks themselves — and came back to teach.

Marked homework weekly and marked spot tests in Year 12. Gaps surface early, while there is still time to fix them, with actionable feedback every step of the way.
